    • Bridal Jewelry

      Within the jewelry industry the highest demand is for bridal jewelry. Students learn not only how to produce a beautiful product but also how to handle expensive materials, how to develop products that respond to the changing attitudes toward marriage, and how to produce sophisticated designs.

    • Order Design

  • Jewelry Creator CourseTokyo / 3years

    Even though we widely use jewelry as a term, there are several types of jewelry, such as sparkling jewelry with lots of studded gems and silver accessories that look cool and create unique way of looking at the world. In this course, you will learn specialized techniques required for expressing the jewelry that you want to create such as metal working and stone setting. You will also explore the possibility of using jewelry as a communication tool by presenting your work to the outside world.

    • High Jewelry

      Jewelry making by using the brightness and beauty of expensive jewels such as diamond and emerald to the maximum possible extent. The focus is on making new high-end jewelry loved by everyone regardless of age by combining "Modern Feeling" and "Contemporary Techniques" such as diamond cutting and polishing, and cloisonné work, descending from the medieval Europe.

    • Silver Accessory & Craft

      In this course students learn wide range of techniques from traditional Japanese metalworking techniques to WAX technique, which is essential for making silver accessories. Another feature of this course is that it offers several opportunities to students to present their work to external world by establishing an original brand, organizing an exhibition and through media publication.

    • Fashion Art Accessory

      Quest for how to express “the personality” through accessories. Not only metals or precious stones, by looking out for the materials that can become jewelry, students learn how to expand the possibilities of creating jewelry from accessories spelling their unique concepts and stories contained in the material.

  • Advanced Jewelry CourseTokyo / 4years

    You will learn the ultimate techniques possible to learn as a student over a period of four years, such as filigree and granulation, which are also known as rare techniques, carving techniques such as cameo and engraving, advanced cloisonné and inlaying techniques for displaying the jewelry in a flamboyant manner. Those who have completed the course will be awarded the title of “Advanced Diploma” that is equivalent to Bachelor Degree, and enable to transfer to a post graduate program. It is your turn to present the oriental culture that took Europe by storm in the end of 19th century, through an item called jewelry.

    • Miniature

      You will draw a miniature (enamel miniature) on glaze material. Although it is a time consuming task where you have to individually burn every single color glaze, you will certainly be delighted once it is completed.

    • Filigree (fine wire workmanship) & granulation (gold granules workmanship)

      “Filigree” refers to creating patterns and three dimensional shapes by melting fine gold wire, and “Granulation” refers to decorating with the granules of fine metal. You will learn traditional techniques popularly used since pre-BC era.

    • Carving

      You will select material to use from shale, coral and jet (dendrolite), and learn carving technique. You will make cameo or small sculpture.

  • Creative Jewelry CourseOsaka / 3years

    In this course, students learn how to take their work to the next level. They will raise their level of expertise by exploring new materials and learning the culture and history of jewelry. They will also study craftsmanship including traditional delicate engraving and cloisonné as well as manual metal crafting from ancient Japan. They will work on assignments that may give them a chance to introduce their own brand such as a sales-on-order event outside school or a graduation work exhibition at a major department store.

    • Stone Setting

      Stone setting requires much skill. In this curriculum, students learn various types of stone setting techniques and create one-of-a-kind, high-grade jewelry that maximizes the shine and beauty of a gem.

    • Jewelry Design

      Students design shapes and colors of jewelry such as rings, earrings, and necklaces. They will learn characteristics of precious metals and stones in relation to purchasing budget, customers, and the market.

    • Japanese Traditional Techniques

      Students learn Japanese traditional metal crafting such as irogane in which colored metals are used to create patterns, wabori or engraving using a chisel, and zougan (damascening), and apply these techniques to creating unique jewelry.

    In addition to the contents of Watchmaker Course (2years), Students will rigorously learn the techniques of repairing complicated chronograph watches, which is strongly desired by the industry. Aim to become a watchmaker who will be able to succeed anywhere in the world.

    • Tools

      The first step in watch repair is tool adjustment. Students learn how to sharpen and shape the tips of screwdrivers and tweezers to fit the grooves on top of screws. The acquired metal processing techniques can be applied to create tools and parts.

    Students focus on design and production, systematically learning the skills they need to enter the industry, including material science, podology, marketing, and how to use a shoemaker’s last. They also deepen their knowledge of products with different characteristics, such as traditional shoes, fashionable footwear, sneakers, backpacks and business bags, gaining the insights to become creators free to explore beyond the usual limitations of these items.

    • My Last

      Despite of same size, shape of feet is different in each person. By learning the know-how of last creation based on footprint measurement, you will take up a challenge of creating full order made shoes using the last that exactly matches your own feet.

    • Full-scale Drawing

      You will learn the technique to beautifully and accurately draw the bag of your imagination from its shape or structure of detailed sub parts. You will create an accurate design diagram while correcting the drawing for problems when creating a paper pattern or stitching.

    • Sales and Planning

      You will create original sneakers by pasting the upper made by you starting from print design of material to sewing, with the technique of vulcanization at Moonstar’s Kurume factory. This project is sold at time period limited shop. Students could experience the entire process from making of shoes to selling them.
