When can I take the admission?
A
Admission to full time program takes place in April every year. We do not accept students except April. We start accepting applications from September 2. Although deadline is until the enrollment limit, for overseas applications, the deadline is December 25.

I would like to know the subjects and difficulty level of the entrance exam.
A
There is Japanese written test and essay writing. In addition, interview is conducted in Japanese. Japanese written test is equivalent to JLPT N2 level. Art related practical exam or special test is not conducted(in case of lateral joining, creativeworks are reviewed) . Applicants who have passed JLPT N2 or above, or those who have obtained over 200 points in Japanese in EJU are exempted from the written test and essay writing.

What about the procedure for Student Visa?

For the applicants residing overseas, staff members of the International Student Center of the college will perform the procedure for obtaining the Student Visa by proxy. For the applicants residing in Japan, usually the visas are obtained through the Japanese language school; however, our staff members also provide necessary support. Put your mind at ease as we provide advice in a very easy-to-understand manner.

How many international students are there?
A
Strength of the entire school is about 140. Although it differs from course to course, number of international student per class is 3-4 for jewelry course.

What are the class schedules?
A
In six days from Monday to Saturday, you will have to attend the school on 4 days (some students have classes on Saturday as well). Days on which you will attend the school will be announced during orientation after joining the college. First period is from 9:30-11:00, second period is from 11:10-12:40, third period is from 13:40-15:10, and fourth period is from 15:20-16:50. There is one hour lunch break between 12:40-13:40.

Are there any long vacations?
A
Yes, there are. Summer vacation is approximately from mid July to end of August, winter holidays are from late December to early January, spring break is approximately from late February to early April. With regard to the official dates, annual schedule will be distributed during orientation after joining.

Can I get a job in Japan?
A
There is ample scope for employment. 89% of the foreign students graduated in March 2013, got job offers, and all those who got the job offers could find employment in their field of expertise.Since the seniors who graduated from this school are playing active role in various positions in Japan, the school is highly regarded by companies.
